Import fees in the Netherlands
Orders from outside the EU pay Netherlands VAT of 21% on the item and shipping. Since 1 July 2026 the EU also charges a flat €3 customs duty on low value parcels. Many stores collect both at checkout; others leave them to the courier, who may add a handling fee.
