These terms apply when you use Lowcart, run by Rumesh Wanigasooriya, an independent founder based in Sri Lanka. By using Lowcart, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Lowcart is in beta
Lowcart is an early version of our service. We check a growing list of stores, and features may change, pause or stop. If we cannot find a product, we may follow up by email.
Who can use Lowcart
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lowcart. You may use it for your own personal shopping. You may not use it for any unlawful purpose.
Prices and other information are estimates
We read publicly available product information from stores when you search, or reuse a check from the last few hours. We estimate shipping, taxes and import fees from each store's published policies and current rules, and convert currencies with European Central Bank reference rates. Stores change prices often, codes can expire, and tax and import rules change. Our totals are estimates and may not match the final price at checkout.
Always check the final total on the store's checkout page before you buy. We are not responsible for differences between our estimates and what a store charges.
We are not the seller
When you buy, you buy directly from the store. The store is responsible for the product, the order, payment, delivery, returns, refunds and customer service. We try to list authorized sellers, but we cannot guarantee any store, product or delivery. Lowcart is not affiliated with the stores it lists unless we say so.
Affiliate links
Some links on Lowcart are affiliate links. If you buy through them, the store may pay us a commission. This does not change your price, and it does not change how we rank stores. See our Affiliate disclosure.
Acceptable use
- Do not copy or scrape Lowcart, or use bots to access it. AI assistants may use our MCP endpoint at /mcp within its limits.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the site.
- Do not submit false information or other people's email addresses without their permission.
Our content and trademarks
The Lowcart name, logo, design and content belong to us. Product names, brand names and store names belong to their owners and are used only to identify products and stores.
Other websites
Lowcart links to stores and other websites that we do not control. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Disclaimer
Lowcart is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from purchases you make with stores. Our total liability to you for any claim about Lowcart is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If you keep using Lowcart after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
